This Provider Agreement applies to all Providers on TowMech, including:
- Tow Truck Operators
- Mechanics
- Any service professionals registered as Providers on the TowMech platform
By registering as a Provider, you agree to all terms below.
1. Provider Status (Independent Contractor)
Providers are independent contractors and not employees, agents, or partners of TowMech.
You confirm that:
- You operate independently
- You provide your own equipment and tools
- You are responsible for your own costs, taxes, and compliance
- TowMech does not control your work methods, only platform rules
2. Verification & Approval
All Providers must submit required documents for verification.
TowMech reserves the right to:
- Approve or reject any Provider registration
- Request additional documents
- Suspend or terminate a Provider account at any time
- Restrict access until verification is complete
Providers may not access certain features until approved.
3. Provider Obligations
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information during registration
- Keep your profile updated
- Provide services professionally and safely
- Respond to jobs honestly and promptly
- Respect Customers and their property
- Avoid harassment, threats, or abusive behavior
- Comply with applicable South African laws and regulations
- Avoid fraudulent actions or false claims
4. Service Quality and Responsibility
Providers are fully responsible for:
- The quality of services delivered
- Tools and equipment used
- Any damage caused by negligence
- Safety compliance during service
- Communicating clearly with Customers
TowMech does not guarantee Provider performance and is not responsible for repair outcomes.
5. Job Acceptance Rules
If you accept a job, you are expected to complete it unless there is a valid reason.
TowMech may take action against Providers who:
- Accept jobs and repeatedly cancel
- Delay unreasonably without communication
- Mislead Customers
- Attempt to charge unauthorized fees
- Attempt to move service off-platform
6. Pricing and Payments
Providers agree that:
- TowMech may apply booking fees, commissions, or platform charges
- TowMech may change pricing rules at any time
- TowMech may hold or delay payments where fraud checks are required
- TowMech may reverse or block payments linked to disputes or abuse
7. Provider Conduct & Safety
Providers must:
- Maintain respectful conduct at all times
- Avoid unsafe behavior
- Not carry out illegal activity
- Not use TowMech for harassment or intimidation
- Not request Customer OTPs or passwords
- Not misuse Customer identity information
TowMech may report misconduct to authorities where required.
8. Suspension & Termination
TowMech reserves full rights to suspend, restrict, or terminate any Provider account, without notice, for:
- Fraud or suspected fraud
- Abuse of the platform
- Unsafe conduct
- Poor service behavior
- Document falsification
- Customer complaints
- Violation of TowMech rules
- Any action that harms TowMech reputation or user safety
TowMech’s decision is final unless legally required otherwise.
9. Provider Data and Document Storage
Providers acknowledge that verification documents may be stored using Firebase or other secure services.
Providers must ensure documents submitted are legitimate and up to date.
